Obverse description The royal arms of Sweden appear at the top centre, supported by two lions and surmounted by a crown, serving as the principal vignette. An intricate guilloche border frames the note, with numeral '5' medallions at both left and right margins. The denomination 'FEM' (Five) is set in bold letterpress within a central panel flanked by the word 'Kronor' on each side, with the issuer's title 'Sweriges Riksbank' in ornate script above and the date '1877' printed below the main text area.
