| Obverse description | The note is printed in green and pale blue-green on a fine guilloche underprint filled with repeated numeral 5s. The denomination '5 Kr.' appears at upper left and upper right, flanking a dark green rectangular panel bearing the inscription 'FÆRØERNE' in bold letterpress. The central field carries the value 'FEM KRONER' in large letters above the promissory text issued on behalf of Danmarks Nationalbank, with flanking foliate laurel branch vignettes at left and right; the issuing authority and date 'FÆRØ AMT.
