| Obverse description | Typeset in dark brown on an orange-red guilloche underprint, the voucher bears the bold Fraktur heading 'GUTSCHEIN' with a serial number at top centre, above a two-line restrictive legend confining use to prisoner-of-war monetary transactions within the camp. The camp designation 'Marchtrenk' in ornate Fraktur occupies the centre, flanked by two circular denomination medallions each bearing the numeral '5', with 'Kronen' in a central oval cartouche and the date 'November 1917' below.
