Obverse description Central field features a crowned oval cartouche bearing the quartered arms of Salzburg impaled with the personal arms of Archbishop Hieronymus von Colloredo. A large patriarchal cross surmounts the crown, while a crozier and sword cross diagonally behind the shield. An olive or laurel wreath is displayed beneath the shield, all elements rendered in finely engraved relief characteristic of late 18th-century Austrian ecclesiastical coinage.
