Within the cartouche, the elaborate crowned cypher of Bishop Heinrich VIII von Bibra is prominently displayed, surmounted by a prince-bishop's crown at the apex. To the left and right of the cypher, the initials F and F (for Fulda) appear as flanking legends. At the base of the cartouche, the mint-director's initials H·M· (Heinrich Meidinger) are inscribed. The entire design is framed by a beaded border running along the coin's periphery. |
