| Obverse description | Central field features the Brandenburg eagle displayed within a circular orb or globe, surmounted by a royal crown with cross finial, the entire device resting upon an ornate baroque pedestal bearing the denomination numeral 5 at its base. Foliate scrollwork flanks the pedestal on either side. The date is divided and placed to either side of the orb. The circular legend reads BRAND. ONOLZB: CONVENT: MUNZ, separated by stops, running around the periphery. |
