Obverse description Draped bust of Duke Charles Eugene (Karl Eugen) of Württemberg facing right, depicted with powdered wig tied with a ribbon at the nape. The effigy is rendered in a restrained late Baroque style, with a plain truncation. The circular Latin legend reads CAROLVS. D.G. DVX WIRT., abbreviated for 'Carolus Dei Gratia Dux Wirtembergiae', running along the entire periphery. The field is smooth and unadorned, with a reeded border visible at the coin's edge.
