Reverse description Central field features the city arms of Nuremberg — a shield divided diagonally with a demi-eagle to the left and diagonal barry to the right — surmounted by the denomination mark V K (5 Kreuzer). The date 1766 is divided to either side of the shield, and below appears the inscription 240 E F M with the mint mark (R) in parentheses beneath, indicating the coin's relationship to the Konventionsthaler standard. The legend CONVENTIONS MUNZ encircles the design, and the whole is bordered by a milled or pearled rim.
