正面描述 Central field displays a trident, an open crescent, and a dagger arranged within a beaded inner circle, accompanied by a Devanagari legend reading 'Kori Paanch / Kutch Bhuj' and the Vikram Samvat date. Surrounding the inner beaded circle is an outer Devanagari legend reading 'Maharaja Dhiraj Mirza Maharao Shri Khengarji Sawai Bahadur', identifying the ruling prince of Kutch. The overall design is enclosed within a plain outer rim, presenting a formal heraldic arrangement consistent with Indian princely state coinage of the late Victorian period.

附加信息

Khengarji III ruled Kutch for over six decades — one of the longest reigns of any princely state ruler under the British Raj — and his coinage reflects the administrative stability that earned him a 19-gun salute, unusually high for a state of Kutch's size. The 5 Kori was the primary silver denomination of the state and was struck at the Bhuj mint, which Kutch operated independently, a privilege most smaller princely states did not retain.

The .937 fineness is notably higher than contemporary British Indian silver, which had dropped to .917.
