| Reverse description | Central medallion depicts a stylised fortified gateway with two battlemented towers, representing the fort of Bhuj, above which a ribbon banner bears the Latin inscription 'BHUJ'. Above the fort, in Devanagari script, appears the patriotic legend 'Jai Hind' (Victory to India). The central roundel is framed by an ornate border of scrolling foliate and arabesque motifs filling the entire field, with a fine beaded outer rim encircling the design. The overall artistic treatment reflects the traditional Indo-Rajput decorative idiom characteristic of Kutch State coinage. |
