| Reverse description | The reverse displays a large incuse cross with double-line borders dividing the field into four quadrants, with the denomination legend ПѦТЬКОПѢЕКЪ (Five Kopecks) inscribed horizontally across the horizontal arm of the cross. The date numerals are distributed vertically along the vertical arm of the cross, reading downward in the field: the upper digits above the horizontal arm and the lower digits below, a distinctive arrangement characteristic of this issue. The quadrants formed by the cross arms are plain. The design is executed in a bold, rectilinear style typical of early Petrine-era copper coinage, with a milled outer rim encircling the entire composition. |
