Reverse description A bold raised cross with double-line arms extends to the coin's periphery, dividing the field into four plain quadrants. Within the horizontal arm of the cross the Cyrillic denomination legend is inscribed, reading from left to right. The date 1726 is inscribed vertically along the lower vertical arm of the cross, while the word ГОДА (year) is inscribed vertically along the upper vertical arm. The overall design is austere and geometric, typical of early Petrine-era copper coinage. The spelling of the denomination is known to vary across the issue.
