| 裏面の説明 | The reverse displays a large ornate cross that divides the field into four quadrants, with the denomination and date arranged within and around the arms of the cross. The Cyrillic inscription reading ПѦТЬКОПѢЕКЪ (Five Kopecks) runs horizontally across the centre arm, while the date 1730 and the word ГОДА (year) are distributed vertically within the vertical arm of the cross. The mint mark ДМ appears at the foot of the cross. The bold, deeply struck cross design is typical of early Annian copper issues from the Kadashevsky Mint. |

Anna Ivanovna's copper coinage of 1730 was among the first acts of her reign — a practical necessity, as Peter the Great's monetary reforms had left circulation chronically short of small denomination metal. The ДМ mintmark places this piece at the Dèdiloff (Dedilovo) works in Tula province, one of several peripheral mints pressed into service to meet demand. Dedilovo was a relatively short-lived operation; its copper output from this period is noticeably less common than contemporary strikes from Екатеринбург.
