| Beschrijving keerzijde | The large numeral '5' is prominently displayed in the upper central field. Immediately below, the Cyrillic denomination legend КОПЕЕК is inscribed horizontally across the centre, with the four-digit date 1935 beneath it. Two slender wheat sprigs flank the central design, curving inward from upper left and upper right to frame the value and date, their tips meeting at the top and their stems converging at the base of the field. |

The "7 orbits" designation refers to the seven strands of grain encircling the shield on the reverse, a detail that distinguished the 1935–1936 type from earlier Soviet five-kopeck pieces and tied the design to the USSR's constitutional structure — one orbit per union republic as recognized at that moment. When the 1936 constitution reorganized the republics and added an eleventh, the coin design was updated accordingly, making this particular binding count a fixed historical marker of the pre-Stalin constitution period.
