Obverse description	The note is printed in green on a multicolour guilloche underprint. A three-quarter portrait of King Sisavang Vong in military uniform occupies an ornate cartouche at right, with a large blank underprint panel at left reserved for the serial number area. A central vignette panel in elaborate scrollwork carries the denomination in Lao script, flanked by bilingual signature lines reading 'LE GOUVERNEUR' and 'UN CENSEUR' in French and Lao. The Lao bank title 'ບະນາຄານແຫ່ງລາວ' runs across the top border, with numeral '5' corner pieces in all four corners.
