| Beschrijving keerzijde | The reverse presents an epigraphic design consisting of Arabic script arranged in multiple lines across the central field, surrounded by an ornamental floral or foliate border. The central inscription bears the Hijri date ١٣١٥ (AH 1315, corresponding to 1898 CE). The overall layout is symmetrical and text-centred, characteristic of Arabian Peninsula coinage of the late nineteenth century. The border decoration frames the inscription with a continuous decorative motif, and a raised outer rim encloses the entire design. |
