| Obverse description | Central field bears the coat of arms of Danzig — a crowned shield displaying a cross with a fleur-de-lis, flanked by two rampant lion supporters, and surmounted by a five-pointed star. The denomination '5 Gulden' appears in relief below the arms. A circular legend runs along the border, divided by the dates 1224/26 and 1974/76 at the sides. |
