Reverse description A finely engraved Imperial five-clawed dragon occupies nearly the entire field, its sinuous scaled body coiling dynamically amid stylized clouds and crashing waves rendered in high relief. The dragon's head, depicted with open jaws and flowing whiskers, appears in the upper left, oriented toward a flaming pearl above. Two large Chinese ideograms reading 伍角 (Five Jiao) are prominently placed in the center of the field. The design is contained within a plain inner border and an outer beaded collar consistent with the obverse.
