Obverse description Central field bears four large Chinese ideograms arranged vertically in two columns, reading right to left and top to bottom, denoting the denomination and issuing authority. Four Manchu script words arc across the upper portion of the field as a parallel translation of the central Chinese text. The design is framed by a decorative border incorporating two floral rosettes, two six-pointed stars, and four additional Chinese ideograms distributed around the periphery. The cyclical year designation 丁未 (Year 43 of the Guangxu reign, 1907) appears among the surrounding inscriptions. The overall composition reflects the standardised imperial coinage style of the late Qing dynasty.
