| Obverse description | Central intaglio vignette of Dr. Sun Yat-sen within an oval guilloche frame, printed throughout in red-orange on a white ground with an intricate guilloche underprint and ornate foliate border. The denomination 伍角 appears in a decorative cartouche below the portrait, flanked by two seal-script chop marks, with the notation 每拾角兌壹圓 below. The issuer's name 台灣銀行 is inscribed at the top, and the year of printing in Republican calendar notation appears in a panel at the foot of the note. |
