Two upright wheat ears flank the denomination on either side, their stems converging at the base where they are tied together with a ribbon and a cogwheel, symbolizing agricultural and industrial unity. The date of issue appears in Arabic numerals along the lower exergue, and a fine reeded border runs along the entire circumference of the reverse.
