| Obverse description | The obverse features an ornate conventionalized floral and vegetal border framing the central legends. The Tryzub (small National Emblem of Ukraine) appears prominently above the denomination. The field bears the Cyrillic inscription НАЦІОНАЛЬНИЙ БАНК УКРАЇНИ arranged in multiple lines, with the denomination 5 ГРИВЕНЬ below. The date 2008, the fineness mark Ag 925, the pure silver weight 15.55 g, and the NBU Mint mark are inscribed in the lower portion of the design. |
