| Obverse description | The obverse features the Ukrainian tryzub (trident) state emblem at the top, beneath which appears the curved legend НАЦІОНАЛЬНИЙ БАНК in Cyrillic. The issuer name УКРАЇНА is prominently displayed across the upper field in stylized lettering. The denomination 5 ГРИВЕНЬ is inscribed in two lines at the center of the field, flanked on either side by decorative folk-art ornamental motifs rendered in high relief. The silver fineness mark Ag 925 appears at lower left, the weight indicator 15.55 at lower right, and the date 2006 is inscribed along the lower rim, with the mint logo centered just above it. |
