| Obverse description | The obverse depicts a detailed relief view of Uzhhorod Castle, rendered in a three-quarter perspective showing its fortified walls, bastions, and multi-storey residential palace block. Above the castle, a decorative ribbon scroll bears the Cyrillic inscription 'УЖГОРОДСЬКИЙ ЗАМОК' (Uzhhorod Castle), while the trident emblem of Ukraine appears above the scroll at the top of the field.
