The Cyrillic legend НАЦІОНАЛЬНИЙ БАНК УКРАЇНИ arcs across the upper portion of the field, with the denomination 5 ГРИВЕНЬ displayed prominently in the center. The date 2011 appears in the lower field, flanked by the alloy fineness inscription Ag 925 and weight notation 15,55 to the lower left, along with the mint mark of the Banknote Printing and Minting Works of the National Bank of Ukraine.
