| Obverse description | The obverse features a richly detailed composition dominated by a stylized frontal ram's head rendered in selective gold gilding, its massive curling horns and textured fleece occupying the left and central field. To the upper left, the national arms of Ukraine (trident) accompanies the Cyrillic legend УКРАЇНА. To the right, the denomination numeral 5 and the date 2019 appear above the Cyrillic inscription ГРИВЕНЬ. In the lower right portion of the field, two decorative ram-shaped ceramic vessels are depicted in raised relief against a finely textured background, evoking traditional Ukrainian folk art. |
