At center, a detailed depiction of the original observatory building is rendered, showcasing its distinctive round room and characteristic stonework masonry. The denomination legend П'ЯТЬ ГРИВЕНЬ (Five Hryvnias) arcs in a semicircle along the lower portion of the coin.
