| 裏面の説明 | The reverse displays a high-relief portrait bust of Ukrainian poet Dmytro Lutsenko facing slightly left, depicted wearing an embroidered vyshyvanka (traditional Ukrainian shirt), rendered in a naturalistic artistic style. To the upper left, a flowing cursive inscription ЯК ТЕБЕ НЕ ЛЮБИТИ, КИЄВЕ МІЙ! — the title of one of Lutsenko's celebrated works — arcs along the rim. To the right of the portrait, a chestnut blossom motif is depicted, and below it the biographical dates с. Березова Рудка 1921 — м. Київ 1989 are inscribed in the field. The name ДМИТРО ЛУЦЕНКО is inscribed in stylised cursive script along the lower portion of the field. |

Dmytro Lutsenko (1921–1985) was a Ukrainian composer whose output was heavily shaped — and constrained — by Soviet cultural policy. His career unfolded entirely within the USSR, and official recognition came only within the boundaries of what the state deemed ideologically acceptable. This coin is part of Ukraine's ongoing commemorative series honoring cultural figures whose work was either suppressed, compromised, or simply unacknowledged during the Soviet period.
The Zahreba reference places it firmly within the catalogued Ukrainian commemorative silver issues, a series that accelerated significantly after 2000 as the NBU expanded its numismatic program.
