| Obverse description | The brass centre features a stylised map of Ukraine filled with radiating wheat sheaves and flanked by grape clusters at the lower portion, with the Ukrainian trident (tryzub) coat of arms displayed centrally within the composition. The Crimean Peninsula is prominently delineated within the map, with the inscription КРИМ appearing in the lower field of the centre. The date 2004 is incused to the left of the central motif. The copper-nickel outer ring bears the country name УКРАЇНА arching along the upper legend and the denomination 5 ГРИВЕНЬ along the lower legend in bold Cyrillic characters. |
