| Obverse description | Bimetallic coin with a brass centre set within a copper-nickel ring. The brass centre depicts a stylised water droplet suspended above concentric ripple rings emanating from a central point, evoking the surface of still water disturbed by a falling drop, rendered in high relief. At the lower left of the copper-nickel ring, the small shield bearing the Ukrainian trident (trizub) state emblem is struck in relief. The Cyrillic legend НАЦІОНАЛЬНИЙ БАНК УКРАЇНИ arcs across the upper portion of the ring, while the date 2007 appears at the right and the denomination 5 ГРИВЕНЬ is inscribed at the lower field of the ring. |
