| Obverse description | At the upper portion of the field, the small coat of arms of Ukraine (trident) is depicted, with a stylized relief of the Antonov An-225 Mriya aircraft below it and the date 2017 beneath the aircraft. A circular legend reading НАЦІОНАЛЬНИЙ БАНК УКРАЇНИ arcs across the upper periphery, while П'ЯТЬ ГРИВЕНЬ is inscribed along the lower periphery.
