| Descrizione del dritto | The obverse features a striking abstract commemorative composition centered on a broken heart motif bearing a six-pointed Star of David in its upper portion, set within a swirling spiral of fragmented, jagged shapes evoking destruction and loss. The denomination numeral '5' appears prominently to the left of the central design, with the legend 'ГРИВЕНЬ' (hryvnia) below it. The curved legend 'БАБИН ЯР 1941' arcs along the upper field, while 'УКРАЇНА' (Ukraine) is inscribed vertically along the right side of the field. The Ukrainian state trident (tryzub) appears as a small emblem to the right of center, and the year '2021' is positioned at the bottom of the design. A small mint mark appears to the left field. |
