| Obverse description | The obverse bears Ukraine's small state coat of arms (trident) in the upper field, accompanied by the vertical legend УКРАЇНА to its right and the date 2019 below. A dynamic commemorative composition fills the central field, rendered in low relief against a smooth backdrop, depicting stylized images of a military aircraft in flight above, schematic figures of soldier-defenders, artillery pieces, and an army tank.
