Obverse description Bare-headed portrait bust of King William I of Württemberg facing right, rendered in high relief with naturalistic detail. The king's hair is shown in short curls with a loosely styled coiffure typical of the Biedermeier period. The circular legend reads WILHELM KOENIG V. WÜRTTEMB., with the engraver's initial W. visible in the lower field beneath the truncation. The whole is enclosed within a beaded border.
