Obverse description Bare-headed right-facing effigy of King Wilhelm I of Württemberg, rendered in high relief with finely detailed curly hair. The king's truncation is plain and unadorned, with the engraver's initial 'W' visible below. The surrounding legend reads WILHELM KOENIG V. WÜRTTEMB. with a stop, arranged along the inner border of the coin's field. The portrait is executed in a neoclassical style characteristic of early nineteenth-century German coinage.
