| Description du revers | Elaborate quartered and impaled coat of arms of the combined Bishoprics of Bamberg and Würzburg, surmounted by a large ornate crown and draped beneath a crowned episcopal mantle or canopy with tasseled cords on either side. The shield displays the complex heraldic devices of both sees in Baroque fashion. The date 1735 and the denomination notation 5 Gul appear within the legend, which reads CANDIDE & CORDATE PRO FIDE & PATRIA, translating as 'Sincerely and wisely for faith and fatherland.' |
