Reverse description Blue and green on multicolour underprint. The central vignette presents an intaglio-engraved view of the Presidential Palace of Suriname, set within an arched guilloche border; large denomination numerals '5' flank the central design on either side, one rendered as a guilloche rosette medallion and the other as an outline numeral. A two-column panel along the lower margin carries anti-counterfeiting legal texts from the Surinaams Wetboek van Strafrecht.
