The Ministerie van Overzeese Rijksdelen — the Dutch Ministry of Overseas Territories — issued currency for the Netherlands Antilles and Suriname during the transitional years following the 1954 Charter for the Kingdom of the Netherlands, which restructured the colonial relationship and granted these territories autonomous status within the kingdom.
