| Obverse description | Right-facing draped bust of Queen Anne, rendered with fine classical detail, occupying the central field. The effigy is portrayed with elaborately dressed hair and a draped shoulder treatment characteristic of early 18th-century medallic portraiture. A beaded inner circle borders the bust, with the Latin legend arranged continuously around the periphery. The portrait is attributed to the engraver John Croker and reflects the refined milled coinage aesthetic of the period. |
