Obverse description Dark-gray intaglio print on olive underprint, with a portrait vignette of Don Carlos Antonio López at center left and a cattle vignette at right. A red letterpress overprint reading 'CINCO GUARANIES' is applied at center, converting the original 500 Pesos Fuertes note to the new Guaraní denomination. The face carries the issuing authority's legend and relevant legal text in full.
