| Obverse description | Imperial Russian double-headed eagle displayed, surmounted by a single large imperial crown, each head bearing a smaller crown. The central breast shield depicts the Polish white eagle on a crowned escutcheon, while three additional smaller shields are borne on each wing, containing the heraldic devices of the Russian imperial provinces. The mint mark 'MW' (Mennica Warszawska) appears in the lower field beneath the eagle's tail feathers, flanking the central design. The entire device occupies the full field with no surrounding legend. |
