| Obverse description | Centered on the obverse is the Polish crowned White Eagle displayed with wings spread, rendered in a bold sculptural style characteristic of the interwar Art Deco period. The eagle faces dexter, bears a royal crown above its head, and displays decorative volutes on its wings. The circular legend reads POLSKA · 1923 · RZECZPOSPOLITA around the periphery, divided by the eagle's form. The designer's initials W and J (for Wojciech Jastrzębowski) appear in the lower field flanking the eagle's talons. |
