This note falls within a series spanning thirteen years — an unusually long print run that reflects institutional inertia rather than design confidence. Haiti's monetary situation during this period was complicated by the Duvalier government's rise in 1957, mid-series. Fiscal pressure from that transition did nothing to stabilize circulation volumes.
