Obverse description	Central intaglio vignette at left shows a seated woman in classical dress tending to a child beside a wicker beehive, rendered in fine engraved detail. The bank title BANQUE DU CONGO BELGE arches across the upper portion, with the denomination CINQ FRANCS in a bold guilloche panel to the right and the payable location STANLEYVILLE inscribed below. Two manuscript signatures appear at centre bottom above the serial number, with the penalty clause in small letterpress text at lower right and the printer imprint WATERLOW & SONS À LONDRES at the foot.
