正面描述	Draped bust of Helvetia facing left, wearing a laureate and braided diadem, her hair elaborately coiled and tied at the nape with a ribbon. The legend CONFEDERATION is inscribed along the left arc and SUISSE along the right arc, in raised capital letters within a beaded border. The engraver's signature A. BOVY appears in small capitals in the lower exergue beneath the truncation. The portrait is executed in a refined neoclassical style characteristic of Antoine Bovy's medallic work.
