An intaglio vignette at left presents a left-facing portrait of a helmeted female figure (Minerva) set within an ornate cartouche, printed in violet. The denomination "CINQ FRANCS" and the place-name "PAPEETE" appear in large letterpress text at centre, above the bearer clause, with two manuscript signatures below for the President and the Directeur Général. Serial number panels are positioned at each corner within the guilloche border, and a small anti-counterfeiting legend cartouche appears at the lower centre. |
