| Obverse description | Plain typeset note within a rectangular border, with the title MANDAT TERRITORIAL in bold letterpress at the top and the denomination de cinq francs below in large script lettering. The series number and an oval manuscript signature appear in the central field, flanked on each vertical margin by the printed legal warnings against counterfeiting and in favour of denouncers.
