Reverse description The crowned coat of arms of Luxembourg, a quartered shield bearing the national arms, inclined to the left and surmounted by a crested helmet with mantling (lambrequin) issuing to the right. The face value flanks the shield on either side. The legend ESSAI identifies this as a pattern strike, and a pearl border frames the entire reverse design.
