备注

Camp de Coëtquidan, located in Brittany near Guer, was a French military camp that during the First World War held German prisoners of war. The 10th Military Region administered a network of such camps across western France, and these fractional notes were issued purely for internal canteen transactions — prisoners could not legally hold or spend French currency, so camp scrip filled the gap.

Coëtquidan's wartime prisoner notes are among the less-documented in the broader French POW camp series. The 5 Francs denomination is notably high for camp scrip of this period, where centimes and single-franc values dominated daily use.
