| Obverse description | Central field bears the name and title of Ahmad Pasha Bey of Tunisia in Arabic calligraphy within a scalloped cartouche, flanked on either side by olive and palm branches. Below the ruler's name, the denomination '5 Francs' (فرنكات ٥) is inscribed in Arabic numerals and text, with the Hijri date 1358 appearing at the base. The overall design is framed by a decorative scalloped inner border, lending an ornate, traditional character to the typology. |
